About the Association

Since 1929, the Association has provided members with valuable resources which enhance professional status and enable continued growth and success.

The Australian Podiatry Association (Vic) has the major objectives of assisting, educating, representing and promoting the cause of podiatry in Victoria.

Only registered podiatrists who are prepared to follow the Association’s code of ethics are granted membership.

The Australian Podiatry Association (Vic) is a member of the Australasian Podiatry Council and so participated and represents members at a national level.

Free monthly newsletter keeping members abreast of current issues, clinical trends, practical information, education and member activities.

Improve and refresh your professional and clinical skills at the many PD activities organised throughout the year. Recognition through the “Accredited Podiatrist” CPD program.

3 Australasian Journal of Podiatric Medicine-

Free quarterly journal presenting scientific research and case related studies in podiatry, classified advertisements and correspondence.

Quickly get answers to your questions from the Association office.

Preferential rates for malpractice insurance protection available through the Association.

Access to comprehensive resource library including slides, videos, journals, slide projector, display stands, and foot models etc.

Use of the Association’s Employment service listing either to list yourself or find others looking for work. Use the free newsletter classifieds. Referral of public enquiries in your area.

Members may use the post nominal M A Pod A and display the podiatry logo
